A few from the garden this morning. First time I've seen a Hawkmoth on our Lavender, normally it's up high on the neighbours overhanging buddleia

My buddlea has long way to go before it has any flowers, but then it's been pissing doon for couple of days noo

Thanks Snappy. Re the "wing patterns" you mentioned on flickr, I think Canon's suffer rolling shutter with electronic shutter, coz the sensor's aren't fast enough. Doesn't happen with the mechanical one, if I remember rightly.
