Yesterday a pair  :wow: :D.
She was just feeding outside the ground cage but himself was inside. Then, down came Bobbin the robin, utterly concerned, and went into the cage too.
It's then, when you can actually contrast the two colours, that you realise how 'gingery' a robin seems to be compared with the more pinky-red of the bully.
They were like that for a good 3 minutes and, oh, for a video-camera .

For the last 3 mornings a f. bullie has been to feed, and yesterday the m. came with her.
Wondering whether it's the same as reported in April. 3 in a row is beginning to seem like a habit :).

Simply by chance, this aft I witnessed the arrival of a female bullfinch. She flew fast and straight into the feeding cage and got down to the main business ! I'm sure she must have done that previously - it was such a perfect sequence. No slowing, no hesitation, just, bang, straight through the wire.
Don't see a male very often, and a female even less so, but you just never know .......
