BULLFINCHES

Post by Placido »

(Surprised we haven't had this as a Topic before :))

Saw a male today - sitting in the silver birch reading the menu. He then tossed it aside and flew straight to next door's caff :(.
The robin was pleased though - the reddish chest intimidates him. It really does.

I hope you've had strong words with the catering dept and the meeters and greeters. Perhaps deconstructed haggis and a stroppy Robin didn't meet with Bully's requirements. :shake:

My first Bullfinch (A male) on the feeding table. Only for about ten seconds unfortunately too late to get the camera. But I lie in wait.

A swift landing on ye olde pine table and then gone. Went to the window and there on the ground, drinking from a patio bowl, a most beautiful male bully resplendent in strong, springtime colours.
Only stayed for 20 seconds or so but that will do .
Wonderful Sunday beginning :D.
