I have been following the live cam of this couple of bald eagles, on and off, for years now. Its set in Decorah, USA and they've had live stream of the nest since 2007. After 10 years of successful breeding and 30 eagles fledged from the nest, last year, the male disappeared while they had eaglets in the nest. No one is sure what happened, but since he was a devoted dad and partner, it was presumed that he was killed by another eagle. Mum soldiered on and brought up the little ones by herself, successfully.
This year, mum found a new partner, and they just had 2 eaglets hatch, one 3 days ago and one yesterday.
