Down By The River 11/08/2026
Linda put me in the mood for Kingfishers, and I realised I'd not been to the river for a while, so with a chore or two to do I popped to town to the "guaranteed" Kingie spot, before doing the chores. Then I popped in to see Mum and Dad and sat in their garden with my camera for a bit, and then finished off with a few shots from my garden.

Nah, yesterday, just didn't post them. Packing this morning, we're away for a few days when Mrs PB finishes work.SnappyMac wrote: Tue Aug 11, 2026 11:38 am I wish I had a guaranteed spot nearby.. great photo's PB. Very impressive selection PB.
Few of us can boast a balcony and a barmy Labrador.
Enjoy your break.

Cheers Jack... The dog is my parents... I think it's a springerdor... Whatever it is, it's too young and lively for octagenarians!

I may have put you in the mood for a Kingie but really no need to sicken me with the brilliant kingie party pics PB!!!
I thought the Little Egret looked Grey....might just be my tired eyes as some of us were working the day! Nice to see the garden visitors a day Ditsy....but hoping a squirrel would fall in the water!!! A would have been videoing it no taking pics
