Great photo John. Not seen ant deer for a few years now.

Thank you. This one walked right across the path into the field at a place call Rivington Hall Barm which on Sundays is a meeting place for bikers which is why I was surprised to see it out with all the loud bikes zooming past.

You could hide for hours waiting to photograph a deer and get nothing as good as that.

That is what excites me more than anything with wildlife photography. You can have a good camera, lens, tripod and camo but at the end of the day its nature that is in control and when moments happen its a joy to see.
