Yep.
You take photos all around you as if you were doing a panorama, then it shows you the bits of the picture you haven't shot yet. So you turn round again taking pictures up at 45 degrees ish and a couple straight up, then take a step back a little and shoot where your feet were. Then it wraps it all in to one image.
