My user name and encrypted password is showing permanently in the boxes at the bottom of the page (when I'm logged out)

I'm not logged in automatically on each visit and delete board cookies.

One for Kev I think Nuthatch. I expect he'll be along in a little while. :)

That's your browser helping you out by remembering what should be in the boxes.

I stay logged in all the time.

Wonder why it's suddenly doing that - I didn't ask it to - most impertinent :smash:

I logged in this afternoon and my name appeared at the bottom but the bit at the top telling me when I was last online wasn't there

There were no sections showing beyond General Nature so I clicked on a few topics and tried to Reply but it didn't respond and kept telling me I needed to be logged in to Reply to posts.

I logged in and out a few times but that's all I could do

It's now stating that I was last online at 6.13 pm so it is acknowledging that I was here :D

All looks fine to me and I haven't changed anything.

Try pressing F5 to clear your browser cache.

The other thing to try is the option at the bottom right of this page to delete the board cookie so you have to generate a new one to log in again.
