I went back again today to see if I could find any ducklings. Not many about. I only found one clutch but I did also spy the swan from last time sitting tight on a rather large nest so that'll be worth another look in a week or two.

Lots more here

The ducks are mental :)
It's all calm and then suddenly one will decide that bit of water is THEIRS! GET OFF!!!!! and there's a massive commotion for 30 seconds and then calm again :D

This is fast becoming my favourite place to go!!

I went back again today to see if there was any sign of the cygnets but the mum was fast asleep on the nest so I think she's still incubating. I'll try next weekend again.

Saw some other bits and bobs though :)

Ah is that what it is? Thanks.

I saw it skim across the river from the opposite bank and land on the railing of the boat I was next to. Did a bit of twittering and then flew off again. I'd never seen one before.
