First whiteheart cherry this morning. Little bit sour so not quite ready but the woodies are gathering so that may be the last/only one I taste :shrug:

Placi, I've had a look around :unsure: you could try hanging a wind chime and CDs or aluminium pie plates/dishes up in the tree :)

You're lucky to have any left to taste. My neighbours splendid cherry tree was cleared two weeks ago and they didn't wait for them to ripen. :weep:

Thing is, Nuthatch, the tree is now about 20 ft high and the foliage is luxuriant so spare CDs (got none) wouldn't even revolve in the lowest branches.
Much intrigued by aluminium pies though - where do I get them ??
