A visit to Rspb St Aidans

Post by Linda257 »

As some of you may know or not I have wanted to go to St Aidans for a long time as an old friend from the RSPB community forum used to post pictures from there often. He went by the name I Love Robins or ILR cos I was lazy so anyhow it was time for me to make the trip down for a couple of days and to try grow my list of sightings for this year. Nowt to do with the cute Little owls honestly
As I still keep in touch with ILR we decided to meet and he was our tour guide for the day and it was a good day. Started off around 7.30 ...1st stop little owl....no where to be seen  ....I was like ILR I have a list and it has to be ticked of or a will be in major huff til xmas

I am going to have to just keep adding to this post as and when I get the time to sort the pics as took a fair few

A couple of lifers were added to the list and all in all we had a great time
Hope you enjoy as much as I did :photo:

Excellent. My favourite was the Hobby but it was a close run thing with the magnificent Osprey and very Christmassy Little Owl. Blue skies too what's not to like?
