I saw a great display of falconry using a Great Grey a few years ago. You get used to seeing Harris Hawks and the like doing their stuff but the GG was astonishing as it's handler had a seemingly great understanding with his bird.

Allan, the chap that owns the falconry, talks to the birds like there his children lol. He said (for all of the birds) let me know where you want them and what you want them doing to get the pictures you want, and I'll see what we can do. He also knew where most of them were likely to fly (distance away wise) so advised on best lenses.
