Yesterdays obligatory hare. One field over from one of the foxes... not that I've ever seen a fox catch a hare, way too quick.

Cheers Snappy. I did back up in to some nettles at the side of the field when I saw the hare approaching. Not on purpose obviously and it did get a bit ouchy.

I was hoping to see three tawny owlets today that are branching but sadly it wasn't to be, Still, got a few more days off this week when the valley is quieter so still have hopes. In the meantime, as usual, the hares are a good fallback. Came within three paces today trying to get past me through a gate in to the next field. Finally obviously thought discretion is the better part of valour and ran off back in to the field whence it came with it's partner.
