Lots of little "horse poo" flies along the trailway, but nothing bigger, insect-wise

I saw a bumblebee in garden the other day aswell but only 1

I have a juvenile grey squirrel visiting my garden. From memory the first I've ever had. I only noticed it because it's attempts to leap from branch to branch were so inept. It also believes it becomes invisible if it sits still and doesn't appear to be frightened of humans.

I think stillness providing invisibility isn't just a juvenile trait... I employ it myself when stalking kingfishers along the river bank
