One of the fledglings has stayed in the garden and has become very daring in respect of coaxing me to give it a private serving of sultanas. It has learnt this trait from an adult male that works very hard getting in my line of sight to prompt a feed.

They're definitely not bird-brained, we have both a male and a female that come to our kitchen door, and hop up onto the back of a garden chair to look in the window! And last night a juvenile landed on the top of the feeder, first one I've seen this year
