Bempton Cliffs 07/05/2026 (part 2)
The ongoing adventure along the cliff top, all the while fretting over Mrs PB's wellbeing (honest!!)

How is the broken one doing?
Great photos - not sure it's somewhere I will get to especially as I'm not comfortable with cliff edges - it's getting worse as I get older as well

I like the gannet action, you did well to get so many species in the time you were there.

Wowsers.....and huge thanks the Mrs PB for giving you the morning off being nursemaid

Thanks Cin, she's on the mend, ta, but I fear she's trying to do too much too soon, and is going to end up needing an op.Germain wrote: Sat May 09, 2026 1:46 pm How is the broken one doing?

I think since my last visit, they've moved the rope barrier back from the edge. Farne Islands might be a better bet for you, as it's not so "cliff-y", plus you get much closer.... just wear a hat or the terns will peck your head lol

Fantastic gannet photos. Everyone one else apart from the Puffins are the supporting cast. The day of my visit it was hard work finding a perched Puffin but there were large rafts of them just out to sea.
