I have two lawns front and back. Each has a "no mow" section and another which is mowed but on a highish blade setting. I try to keep all the birds and wildlife happy as there is not a one size fits all.

I mowed the front today but the back will be left and if needed a will cut a path up to the log cabin....Will see how it grows!!

Well I gave in to cutting the grass on thursday night as was a change in weather due the Friday
Ano av been so lazy with my garden birds
too busy out chasing henharriers and owls and boring birds like that
A couple I have taken...had 4 young goldies in last week and Mr GSW lives in the garden now a think as he's there constantly so youngster should be in soon me thinks and a nice Collard Dove visited yesterday. Usual bullies and greenfinch and tits all still visiting...just no as many! Also got young great tit chick's in the nest box on side of log cabin. Doubt I will see them fledge due to some idiot planting trees in the way

We're back to the hospital Tuesday at the fracture clinic, hopefully for the last cast, and only 2 more weeks of one armed-ness! She's going potty

You will probably see the great tit chick's standing on top of a feeder begging to be fed
