Had a little blue butterfly whizz over the garden as I happened to be looking out at the male blackbird snaffling sultanas yesterday.... first sighting at home of the year I think :)

Did see a holly blue, but last week. But today, briefly, a painted lady. Both a first for this season.

Those in the South and SE keep your eyes open - It sounds like there might be an influx of Painted Ladies - reports of lots on the Island yesterday
