Three randoms from this morning. Also saw red deer down there for only the second time. Usually they are up on moors.

Three of the seven red deer as just mentioned. Helping themselves to the valley food. I did have to peak over the hedgerow and eventually they sussed me and jogged off. Made my day. They are too large to sustain themselves in the valley safely, unlike the roe deer who are masters at hiding. Not quite sure what will happen to be honest. If they head east or south they will find better terrain but north or west wouldn't be good at all for them as they will be heading in to the city.

Ta PB. I do have the same shot over a number of years and it always makes me smile when I see one on the sign.

A great set Bob, looks like you have the sun as well. As PB says a classic with the heron.

Roebuck this morning. Mate of the one posted Thursday. He did see me through the trees but curiosity got the better of him so he came for a closer look... which was nice :)
