A trip out to see if the Little Terns were back at Ferrybridge yet, in mostly sunny, but very breezy conditions... so much so it was a struggle keeping the lens pointed in the right direction!

A good day out PB, lots of lovely photo's and birds I still have to see... Very nice to see the wheatear, rock pipet and guillemot photo's. Top pic is the scratching gull

A guess the Terns wernt back yet and you opted for a gull fest instead. The wheatear amongst the spring growth is just lovely PB. You will just need to toddle back again on a calmer day. There is a whimbrel up here at Lochwinnoch but only seems to be roosting there at night and I have yet to see one! Thanks for sharing yours

Thanks all. I think I saw the terms a couple of weeks later, last year.... It was just an opportunistic foray
