Re: Pot Pourri
Thanks Willpar. Shorter than usual but plenty of activity. Has your local Beaver got a chainsaw?
Re: Pot Pourri
Thank you JS, storm Goretti caused quite a bit of damage down the woods here, went down there the day after.
Re: Pot Pourri
Lovely video William with lots of variety . Looks a very nice area to explore. Shame about the storm damage though. I could watch egrets fishing all day. Thanks for sharing
Pardon the Scottish accent
Re: Pot Pourri
Thank you Linda, I like the woods, But is in a mess at the moment with all the fallen trees that has blown down over time. The lakes are great to see water birds and a lovely place to video.

Good stuff, William, that looked a big old tree that came down! I liked the slightly backlit Little Egret
We've half a dozen daffs in the garden that have been beaten flat by the rain
Some nice fresh-looking fungi too, fab selection in a weather curtailed month!
Re: Pot Pourri
Thank you PB, think it may have been a beech that blown over down the woods. Were a few smaller ones as well. Was surprised I could get that close to the little egret, was around five metres away.
Re: Pot Pourri
February`s video has landed, no thanks to the rain that kept me in. Went down to the lake again a couple of times. But still managed six minutes worth. Not sure of the bird on the mud looking for food, was thinking one of the Shanks.

Nice one William, nice to see a drop of sunshine in a couple of the clips! Those daffs certainly brought a splash of colour to proceedings... I liked the ones with the darker "trumpet"
Had a giggle at the Moorhen's racing, I guess there was a girl at the end of it somewhere lol.
Mudflat bird I think was a Redshank
Thanks for sharing

Re: Pot Pourri
Thank you PB, yes, after all the rain was good to see a bit of sunshine. I think i probably got out for 11-12 days in February.
