Thanks JS...yes it does look like that but I have lots of photos of it moving freely up and down...swans do inflate their necks believe it or not
I suppose when they stretch to reach some food their necks reduce in girth. I hadn't thought of that :unsure:

I was busy try to take a pic of a redwing on the path of interest and I could hear a like a branch moving or something close...slowly lowered my camera to find this yin 😆

A few from the Haugh yesterday, scrapes were frozen but was a other sunny winters day
