Thanks Linda, I think I've said before, it probably about a 200 yard stretch, between two bridges, with a weir at one end, and benches conveniently placed along if you want to sit. On a morning like yesterday (-2 when I was there shortly after 8) it's not advisable to stop too long, you'll stick to the bench lolLinda257 wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 1:58 pm A would happily sit there all day everyday PB.....and to have both Mr and Mrs Kingie pose for you....you chose well in your half hour!!![]()

A great set of action photos. I'm slightly miffed on the Kingies behalf that all the effort was for no reward. The view from my doctors waiting room is nowhere near as good.SnappyMac wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 4:55 pmA well spent half hour PBPimperneBloke wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 1:07 pm So I had half hour spare before a docs appointment yesterday, and the sun was shining... where else to head but the river
