Some flying things from today

Post by Kev »

I went to a local woodland today and the pond they dug a couple of years ago, and which was pretty lifeless, now has broad-bodied chasers on it. Lovely. Haven't seen them before. And one female was swooping towards the bank and dipping her 'tail' in the water, presumably laying more eggs for the next generation.

I also spotted various other bits and bobs :)

And finally, not sure what this was but it was hanging in the air, waiting for a dragonfly to pick it up for supper!!

Did the last one on my phone :) I have a 360 degree app. You just turn around and it takes the next pictures and sticks it to the previous one.
