A Mistle Thrush has become a rare sight around my area so it was good to see so many. Scotland seems to hogging all the Magpies at present.

Thanks JS , should hopefully get the thrush in the garden soon as winter approaches. As I never went my usual morning jaunt up the Haugh yesterday I was SEVERELY punished. A guy new to birding who I've met several times up there and even went out my way to show him his 1st ever Jay ....Lochwinnoch is his local but he likes visiting the Hagh and what did he see yesterday
Not 1 not 2 but 7 GLOSSY IBIS
I have his permission to share even though I hate him
Canny believe I missed them ......I shall now continue with my sulk

The guy has only been birding since May!! He's no even seen a bullfinch yet
I was up the Haugh twice today but no sight of them , apparently they were on there for a couple of minutes then offski
