Seeing your cormorant on that narrow perch reminded me, last time I went to WWT Welney I saw one on an overhead power cable. Surprised it could grip it and seems a big bird to be able to balance like that.

It was pretty high up a tree SM


a don't often see them perched so high up, they do tend to look a bit strange, just like the time I saw a Heron on a lamppost down the park...VERY strange :rofl:
