The countryside is starting to come alive and no doubt gardens as well. Some nesting birds in the mix. Look out for a noisy kite, te he. Here is Wild Westcountry February 2023.

I enjoyed that. I think the Egrets in with the sheep were Cattle Egrets.

Thank you JS. Not a bad start to the new year. I think cattle egrets as well. Did compare the both and came to that conclusion. First time I have seen them and six come along at once.

March was blooming, with some birds in the mix. A walk down to the beach.

Thank you Js,the countryside is coming alive now. Enjoyed the walk to the beach and the sound of the waves. Don`t know why but the sound of water always seem to be relaxing.

April was not a bad month. Plenty of flowers, cultivars and wild. With a more exotic wild flower coming in to bloom. A sprinkling of birds and butterflies to round things off. And not least, a cold blooded creature.

May certainly sprung to life. Lots of flowers with a sprinkling of birds and butterflies. Note the pied wagtail, it seems to get around alright. Though i have not seen it for several days now.
