In between the showers which were quite heavy at times, there was some nice sunshine.

I can't wait to plan my holidays with 100% guarantee of sunny weather in August :) , and I reckon it was worth every single penny of my money.
Now it may just be me but I'm sure there was a hint of sarcasm there :rolleyes2:

How very perspicacious of you, Cap'n !!
But seriously, does anyone, anyone at all, expect the forecasts to improve ??

Grass was frozen this morning on doggy walk. Never felt that cold though.

I'm not sure if they are looking to improve the long range forecast or the timing of the short range. It is the latter that seems to give the most trouble where they sometime s appear to be about 12 hours out or weather predicted for the weekend on a Thursday rarely seems to pan out as forecast. Long range is educated guesswork so I assume the super computer will help with the guessing. :)

Sun shining here this morning. No frost first thing. I feel a nice walk around the lanes coming on.
