Re: DEAR DIARY .......
Plenty of bird food on the pyrowhatsits. The old timers
always claimed that plenty of autumn berries meant we were in for a bad winter
I'll be dusting off the snow boots PDQ and like retrieving the snow shovel from the eaves of the garage
Re: DEAR DIARY .......
Thank you, Willpar
Quite confused about the conflicting messages from the 2 pyrawotsits - one's groaning with berries and the other has managed to produce only the one twigful shown in the pic.
Some days I just dunno which way to turn

A Great Day !!
Toady is World Porridge Day - the Day we've been waiting for, since twelve months ago.
Ahem ..... porridge, porage, parritch, is a universal farinaceous food beloved of man and animals the world over since the dawn of time, but only for breakfast unless yir completely scunnered.
It is the most universal ingredient the whole universe over universally - not only does it seal a holed car radiator, caulk luxury yachts and leaking rooves, it doubles as a naturally antiseptic plaster cast for broken limbs, wallpaper paste, dries faster than concrete thereby reducing cost of high-rise buildings, BUT a single spoonful will instantly annihilate every virus known, or unknown, to mankind.
Donald Trump swears by it, and look what it's done for him, so what better ringing endorsement than that?
Re: DEAR DIARY .......
A great starter for the day. I have it all year round, with a teaspoon of honey.

Re: DEAR DIARY .......
Friday night my built in gas oven bit the dust so had to make do with a microwave meal. Bought some for a few days. Having spent some time Friday night looking at built in cookers, i had a light bulb moment. Why do i need a built in oven anyway, it is only me i am cooking for. So looked around for worktop ovens instead. In the end i picked a sage one by Breville. Ordered it Saturday morning and it arrived this morning. Still have two microwave meals for today and Monday. But Tuesday I shall use the new smart oven. At least now i wont have to bend down to take things out of the oven anymore. Will have to get to know the new one, so will be trial and error to start with. But not too much error, i hope.

Good luck with your new oven Willpar. They always take a while to get used to especially when you switch power sources.

After around 5 years my washing machine has bit the dust. Was a chinese one Never lasted long. Just had a call, my old machine only lasted 3 years. Was trying on the big sell for extra warranty.
