Will put this here. Those that use windows 10 be aware. If you use the Edge browser. I have had a couple of pages come up yesterday and today, purporting to be from Microsoft saying that viruses and malware has been detected and that I should click the box to fix it. Needles to say I did not do it and shut the page down. Went and did a scan that found nothing, yesterday and today. Don't be fooled into clicking as you don't know just what will happen. Have filled out a form with Microsoft and reported it. Just be aware.

I haven't used Edge since I experienced a major "Ransome Ware" scam a couple of years ago. I have been getting the "pop up" saying I need to give my Microsoft account attention probably involving a password change it suggests. I have ignored it too.
PS I use Chrome as my search engine. No problems thus far. :shake:

Must say I quite like edge, and this is the first time I have experienced anything like that. The page came in while I was reading a news story, yesterday and today. I have chrome but I cant say that I like it. There is a new browser out now that is suppose to be better than chrome, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Another web page popped up this morning. This time from a supposedly anti virus company telling me that it needs renewing. Don't have that particular one.

I use Windows Defender. I see no reason to use anything else.
