Have had a look round jacksparrow. Could the micro moth be a small purple, that is the common name.

I have looked in my Moth book and we can definitely rule out the Small Purple Barred. I can't see an image of a Small Purple

Don't have a moth book myself. Was relying on pics I found on the internet. Did not realize that there were micro and macro moths.

Good to see the intriguing cuckoopint again , and various fungi out and about.
I wondered whether the alstroemeria was attractive to bees so I googled it and it is, so that's a Good Thing .
Macro moth again , and a dragonfly, which must have been a great find.

Another belter Willpar
According to my moth book the black and white stripey one is a Jersey Tiger which is the largest of the Tiger Moths. They also label it a "suspected imigrant" which suggests it is a non-native species that arrives in the UK via favourable breezes.

Thanks both, placi there is even more plants of that lily where I found the first one. And yes the fungi are beginning to make a show.

Jacksparrow, I seen that the moth was a jersey tiger, so assumed that's where it came from. Ah well is a nice moth though.
