SITE "NOT SECURE"

Post by Placido »

Suddenly, our site has been labelled "Not secure" in red, with a wee red triangle and an exclamation mark.
Is this right ??
Are we on the fringes of The Dark Web  ??
Am I being hacked ??

I think we should be told .......

It's fine. More likely your browser is noting that it's http and not https
That difference is not terribly relevant on a site like this but it is on things like a bank or a shopping site where credit card info is being passed through the page.

I am planning a software update in the next few weeks though.

Thank you for the reassurances, Kev.
