Misterious green birds

[Butterfly]

They are lovely looking birds butterfly, but quite destructive.

Are they? I read something along those lines but I never encounter them before so I don't know what they are like. Should I be weary of them?

Not really butterfly. When they look for somewhere to nest I have seen a video of what they can do. Peck a hole in the soffit if it is wood so they can nest in the cavity. Don't know about feeders, but if they are metal should not be a problem. Don't know about plastic tube feeders. Just need to be aware I would say.

As long as they are not aggressive to other birds . I found this video, quite entertaining
