Back again, though for how long I don't know - broadband just went off on Thursday lunchtime - but now of course I have no tv either not just the computer.
After a surreal number of 'phone calls (at least I could chew the fat with a couple of Dundee engineers !!) I found myself on Saturday evening speaking to a young guy who had been designated as my Case Manager, 'cos BT finally acknowledged that 16 October was rather a long time ago, who promised to email his - wait for it - Manager's Manager (whaaaaat ?!?!?!?!) to expedite my problem.
Sunday evening said M's M rang to say that the broadband would be reconnected on Tuesday, 7 November - and they had discovered that an engineer does not even have to enter my house to do this so that's all good, isn't it.
I find this morning, Monday, 6 November, that the ****** thing is back on

. I have a lot to do on the computer because I have no faith whatsoever that it won't go off in one second's time.
All this is beyond me and I think this switch to BT is the biggest mistake I've made in a long time and this saga is not over.
The things I endure for cricket.
