Two different herons this morning, Great egret and Grey heron, both stood 3 or 4 yards from each other. I presume it's a Great egret, only the 3rd time I've seen one

I don't often get very close to the Great Egret, nice photo's Bob.

I don't often get very close to the Great Egret, nice photo's Bob.
Cheers Snappy. As I say only my third time seeing one. A fleeting glimpse in the local valley once and up on Old Moor.

Super stuff Bob, I like both egrets and herons, slightly comical but equally delicately balanced when coming in to land
