I see a lot of variety up in Peaks re birds so rather than tagging on to other posts or creating multiple ones I thought I'd just add one for me and those who visit the Peaks. A meadow pipit at the weekend, I think possibly a tick between the beak and eye. Lots of warnings up there this year about the ticks as they are very prevalent this year and not great for the wildlife or people for that matter,

There ae so many small birds up there. The chats, wheatears, buntings and oh so many pipits to name a few, Also a great place for cuckoos. Raptors also including the long and short eared owl, harriers and kites which I have photos of but they are rubbish.Linda257 wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 4:27 pm Nice photo and great idea Bob.
