I've got a pair of GSWs who have now produced a youngster. If you look carefully at about the two minute mark you can see it on the left perched outside the table with the red patch on the top of its head.

The juvenile has been quenching its thirst at the pond.

Great video Nick, have not had them in my garden, but see them down in the woods now and again.

I'm quite fortunate in that I'm in a fairly rural location near a large wood. Having said that my sisters who live a few miles away in the middle of a town get species I never do, so it can be a case of swings & roundabouts I suppose.

The youngster has learnt to access the bird table now and is calling like an adult.
