That's a common blue.
Very nice picture John. You've captured the bright blue very well. Keep your eyes peeled for the females. Harder to spot though as they're a sort of straw brown colour.

But they're not very big and difficult to focus on. You've shot it side on which is correct. That gets the whole of the body in the same focal plane. The rest of the settings look fine. Because the depth of field is quite shallow it's worth taking 6-10 photos of it and one of them should be just right.

That was the best of around 10 shots using manual focus. First try. Still in manual mode though.
