My Robin has been very vocal today. Each time I stepped outside the back door he was to be heard twittering away. Nice :)

Perhaps the exceptionally mild weather is fooling him (it was 58F here today !!).

Cupid has struck again  - Bobbin with a lady friend. She ate daintily and he watched attentively from above. Soppy date.

Good to hear Placi. Time to order the wool and fettle the needles I think.

I had two Robins in the front garden today doing what looked to like house hunting :) Time will tell whether my site has been selected.

Our robin didn't take long to find the fat filled coconut I had put in the bush at the front of our house by the window.
Thought he had it all to himself until the blues found it.

Bobbin has a trick of sitting on a certain prominent pyrawotsit branch where he can be easily seen by me. This signals that he's hungry again . So I was out there this affie obeying the command; we were just chatting away as one does when down comes his chosen innamorata. We formed a sort of equidistant 4 ft triangle and he began a little sub-song to her.
Haven't heard that for ages and I was quite sure he was talking to her - I think he was saying that I'm harmless if a little barmy .
