I may have mentioned it before, but my hog is vegetarian - or addicted to mealworms.
I watched him go straight past the bowl of fresh cooked chicken, with barely a sniff at it and straight into the worms.
Ungrateful hog :D

That's interesting - I've never put anything out except mealworms so I don't know whether mine are/is fussy.
Actually I've never thought of serving up anything else. Maybe I'll try it just to see what happens .......

Well I named my 4 after ladies on Game of Thrones. Then I caught Brienne humping Cersei, so renamed him to Bronn :hedgehog: . Then I caught Dany humping Cersei so renamed him to Drogo :hedgehog: . Last night I caught Arya humping Cersei, his name is now 'Arry :hedgehog: .
She was certainly letting them all "do their business" rather than huffing away, so there's definitely going to be hoglets at some time. As to who's the father - gawd knows. :D

She wasn't impressed :)

I was looking through my videos from the past few nights and spotted a 5th hog. This one seemed to be a confused male as he'd give Cersei a good sniff (she was eating on the feeder) and then he'd run to the food shelter, run back to sniff Cersei and back and forth for a few times before running off. He was much bigger than Cersei but the camera hasn't picked him up since.

Saw my first hedgehog of the year scooting around last night :D couldn't see if there was a mark on it. Earlier on I heard one sniffing under the hedge near the back of the shed :hedgehog:

At first I thought it was a dog in nextdoor's garden.

I was looking at the camera and spotted 2 hogs feeding. One of them was a new one (number 6). They started scrapping and disappeared off camera.
I went to the window with my torch and had to shout to hubby as there was a 3-way Mexican stand-off. Cersei, Drogo and the new one (lady beginning with 'F' - not named yet). As we were watching them a fourth turned up - Bronn. He was really aggressive. The other 3 curled up and he was doing circles around them huffing and puffing. After a while I went out to take some photos (and mark 'F') :photo:
