Reference the Willow/Marsh Tit which is it problem. From what I have read on the subject it is near impossible to tell visually but it is thought the more likely of the two to come to garden feeders is the Marsh Tit.

For one glorious moment the SF hearts feeder had 2 Redpolls, 2 Greenfinch and a female Blackcap. A colourful mix

What I noticed today was the birds were very skittery (is that a word?). They landed on the feeders for a couple of seconds and were gone again rather than have a sustained munch. I put this down to the wind carrying many more noises than there is on a calm day

Wednesday was a quiet day and we managed a walk round the reserve and i got a surprise not very clear as it was a distance and very little to see ,the ponies were having a graze and lots of tree sparrows and chaffie"s but i found the Bearded Tits.
