OK, we went for a walk this afternoon and I decided we'd start by walking alongside the burn that runs through town, there are often Dippers in there but, today there were these wee cuties. I'm guessing. Black-headed Gulls? Not because my ID skills are that good, more about the screeching coming from the roof behind us where a Black-headed Gull was watching from

Either there's been a second wave of Starling babies or Starlings don't like to fly too far on cold and dank days? Can't say I blame them, we're not moving far today either.
