Re: GRASS
I did mine yesterday. It is still a little patchy after the dry weather but will recover quickly once we have some decent rain.Willpar wrote: Fri Sep 02, 2022 9:48 am Cut the two lawns this morning. The green is a bit sparse but hopefully it will recover. Thought i had better get it done ahead of the rain, as once it starts is suppose to last around six to seven days.

Re: GRASS
My lawn looks very untidy at present. It has become very patchy and full of moss and wild flowers. I don't know if it will get another cut this year.

Re: GRASS
I had to mow my lawn today due to the mild weather. I'm hoping that was the last time for this year.

Re: GRASS
First cut of the year today. It is always harder going than usual. I have quite a few cowslips and primroses growing in the lawn and it very tricky dodging them all. Mrs JS gets upset
if too many fall to the blade so the job takes longer than it should.

Hi Wren!Wren wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 8:05 pm Cut both my front and back lawns yesterday. Very wet but hopefully their last cut for the year. Next strip and clean the lawn mower and sharpen the blade.![]()
Incase you remove the blade from the shaft for sharpening please don't forget to remove the spark plug so she doesn't fire by accident. The big bolt is usually reverse threaded.
Cheers!
