Strangely there has been more frog activity this week, so I may be getting some more spawn. There is no sign of the existing spawn giving any tadpoles but it has been cold overnight with some ice on the ponds.

The tadpoles are starting to emerge from their jelly  . Only a few at present but should increase within the next few days.

Plenty of tadpoles in both ponds and still some spawn to hatch.

Thanks Willpar. I had a quick count today and saw 13 but I'm sure there are more.

We had a frost last night which has stopped the mating activity. Still no spawn.
