Bird feeders much busier now the cooler weather has arrived Nothing exotic just more of the usual suspects. :)

The Sprawk did a high speed fly through this morning. He was unlucky. :) It may also be a reason why I'm not seeing as many birds as I would like.

This was from the 30th January. Walking in the lanes I happen upon a nest in the hedge. Looks very fresh to me, and believe it is a blackbird, as there is no mud lining. Seen it because the farmer has cut the hedge. Now the nest may well be abandoned after the cutting.

There was a female Blackbird collecting nest material today. She flew off into a neighbour's conifer. :blackbird:

A bit early, perhaps the cold spell will hold her off for a bit.

3 xblue tits
5 x starlings
4 x blackbirds (all males )
1 x pigeon
