I had 3 harlequin blackbirds yesterday on my bench. The must of there or a couple of hours. Is this normal for them.

I had another 5 in my garden today. We also had some mainly black ones. Are those still harlequin blackbirds?

Best to keep quiet about the Harlequin blackbirds or you won't be able to get out the house for twitchers.

The mainly black ones are harlequin ladybirds too, I think, johnd.
I don't think I've seen them resting in the same place for a couple of hours but they could have just been enjoying the warmth of the sun
