Great to see. They got through a suet ball in no time. Must have been a dozen or so waiting to take their turn.

I found a dead sparrow under the hanging feeders this evening.
There was a small amount of blood in his neck area and a few feathers near where I found him. Current thinking is that he was the loser of a fight.

Rain this aft. Sloshed out with final feed and there must have been 15 sparrows arrived en masse for tea
!! There were shedloads of them. Didn't know I was nurturing so many.
(The dunnocks - I reckon they're overcrowded in that pyrawotsit - came down later for the remains. Didn't go out again
