Unusual sight ..... a blackbird  !!!
She was just hopping around the lawn, prospecting for breakfast. Good to see.

I have seen a Blackbird once in the last three weeks though I suspect he is coming more often as the sultanas are disappearing and nothing else bothers with them since the Sturks departed.

I went to the bird table this morning with some scraps and came face to beak with a male blackbird. We exchanged glances and I got the impression I was expected to depart and leave him in peace. However the goodies had to be delivered and he reluctantly gave ground. :)
I did notice that his head was nearly bald due to a lice infection. :(

Omg :( , I hope he recovers Jacksparrow, I read that it can be dangerous for them? That if the weather gets cold the bird can't retain heat properly due to the lack of feathers

Not seen any blackbirds here yet, since they were feeding young. Usually pick them up early with the hedgehog camera.

Female blackbird in my hawthorn this morning. First I have seen for several months, in the garden that is.
