Curtains drawn to reveal 3 woodies on my front lawn and 3 on grass opposite. Six !!!, I thought

.
Stoked up cauldron and returned: 4 on front lawn - 2 babies + proud parents.
Wonderful sight to begin the day

Drew the curtains (again!) to reveal a brand-new baby woodie groovin' around on the back lawn. Not a care in the world
Actually, haven't seen a woodie for ages but this little one turns up all on its own.

It just goes to show that Woodies are "busy" for much of the year. Well spotted.

Meanwhile the usual Woodie visitors to the chateau grounds have for some reason disappeared. I know for certain where one went as it was killed in a window strike about 2 weeks ago,as for the remainder
