Good morning all,
Yesterday I received my RSPB big garden bird watch pack through the post. Anyone taking part?

I have taken part in the past but as I do a weekly report for the BTO Garden Watch I have given it a miss.

I identified a small window this morning where I thought I could spend a little while and do the current birdwatch. What a waste of time that was. I had put some fresh food previously so I could sit back and do the count. Zilch, nothing, garden deserted of avian visitors.
I had to go out just after lunch and when I returned home there were birds galore but I was not available to sit around and count them.
Maybe tomorrow.
